Naudia Banton
Naudia is an innovative force. With a background in entrepreneurship and talent management, she has worked across industries such as publishing, health care, insurance, education, and manufacturing. Known for her energy and drive she helped build Waterloo Region’s first Women Entrepreneurs Bootcamp, recently opened the regions newest innovation space focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and currently manages the Waterloo Region Small Business Centre.
As a woman of colour and mother, Naudia is an advocate for diversity in the workplace; in particular advocating for the economic success of underrepresented minority groups.
Roxy Ivashchenko
Program Assistant
Roxy Ivashchenko is the Program Assistant at the SDG Idea Factory, where she works closely with tenants to support their growth and success. Her responsibilities include organizing events, fostering connections within the community, and overseeing daily operations to ensure a collaborative and innovative environment. Roxy also leads tours of the space, showcasing its potential to inspire creativity and sustainability.
With a background in sustainable business management, social science research, and administration management, Roxy brings a diverse skill set to her role, driving impactful initiatives at the SDG Idea Factory.
Caroline Nessner
Entrepreneurship Advisor & Community Connector
Caroline brings over 10 years of experience as a business leader, with seven years spent running her own business as a Kumon Math and Reading Instructor. Her background includes extensive experience guiding individuals in skill development, helping them build confidence, and supporting their growth. Caroline is passionate about fostering community success and is excited to apply her educational expertise to support entrepreneurs and drive economic development in Kitchener.
